| Barnes Grill is the latest opening by the celebrity chef Antony Worrall Thompson, and is based on the same concept of simple real food, that has brought such success to its sister restaurants Kew Grill and Notting Grill. The restaurant promises to use only the finest ingredients; from hand caught scallops from the west coast of Scotland to home bred middle white pigs and even fresh vegetables from AWT's own farm in Henley on Thames. |

| The interior follows the same concept of simplicity and has an unmistakeable country house identity. The rooms are lit by magnificent purple chandeliers and decorated with a selection of African artefacts and paintings. This is an extremely popular neighbourhood restaurant and advanced bookings are recommended. |

| The menu is varied and offers a mix of fish, meat and vegetarian dishes, but the emphasis here is on meat which the menu describes as 'well bred, well fed, well hung. The steaks are available in various cuts and sizes to suit every appetite. The tender, full flavour beef is mostly Aberdeen Angus, hung for 35 days and cooked to perfection. The carefully selected wines match the quality of the first class menu, with enough choices to satisfy every taste. |
