Galileo’s Locanda is a restaurant that pays tribute to the pioneering spirit of its namesake, rebelling against the bland, branded formula of most of the Italian restaurants in London’s Theatre Land to offer a unique, authentically Tuscan, premium quality culinary experience. The combination of its native Tuscan dishes, friendly, attentive service and ideal location in the midst of the theatre district make Galileo’s a “must-visit” restaurant. |
|
Galileo’s excels in catering for pre- and post-theatre diners, with dedicated menus offering a choice of 2 courses for an exceptionally good value £9.50, specifically designed to offer a delicious meal in one hour from start to finish. For those who want to spend more time sampling the restaurant’s delicious Tuscan specialities, a three course a la carte meal (excluding wine) averages £26 per person. |

With its central location in the heart of the West End, spacious interior and high tech AV equipment, Galileo’s is ideal for a wide range of private and business events and parties. Functions at Galileo’s can be stand-alone events or can be held in conjunction with other West End activities such as concerts or shows. Galileo’s can serve 120 for a sit-down lunch or dinner and accommodate 60 people for a reception, as well as sectioning off smaller areas of the restaurant for more intimate groups. |
|
Galileo’s has an entire floor that can be used for your private event. A dedicated events co-ordinator utilises impeccable organisational skills to attend to every detail of your lunch, dinner, meeting or party, from menu planning to AV rental to writing the place cards for your guests. |

| Galileo’s Head Chef, Silvano Mazzoli, adheres to the fundamental principle of his native Tuscan cuisine; that dishes are simple, fresh and seasonal, using only the finest quality ingredients whose flavours are enhanced with accompaniments such as olive oil and fresh herbs rather than masked with heavy or complicated sauces. The menu is crammed with Tuscan Specialities and complimented with a wonderful array of Tuscan wines. |
