Time Out Food Guide 2006
An eclectic dinning room furnished with striking art works. A WINE LIST THAT SHINES:
A great choice of well-priced Italian wines. Which is a oenophile's dream. A well-executed, interesting menu with a Laudably lengthy choice of desserts in a league of its own, with no sign of the dull Italian classic seen elsewhere.
The Hardens Food Guide 2006.
Food Good, Service Exceptional, Ambient Very good.
"A TERRIFIC LOCAL" Offering imaginative cooking, personable service, and an excellent wine list
E. S. Magazine
Charles Campion eats at Metrogusto: The dining room is large, everything seems light, bright and comfortable without being aggressively modernist. Service is Classic Italian, the wine list is comprehensive Italian and the food... well, Progressive Italian. The Puddings are sensational - both to the eye and to the taste buds... Progressive Italian cuisine represents dining heaven for most Islington foodies.
The Zagat Food Guide 2006

Went to this restaurant with a friend and can not sing its praise enough. The food was spot on and the service warm and friendly without being too intrusive. They have a very large selection of wines so unless you are good with wines, I suggest asking for their advice. We were vey happy with the suggestions. A tad bit more expensive than some other Italians but well worth it.
