What Critics Say
Charles Campion, Evening Standard
Hoxton Apprentice combines an eclectic modern menu with a thoroughly professional attitude
Now a year old, this attractive restaurant has settled into a niche as magnet for the area’s groovy inhabitants, particularly those in search of a good, reasonably priced meal.
The Independent
The place looks great – dark, sexy and expensive, with nothing worthy about it
Fay Maschler, Evening Standard
‘Good works. Good value’
Guardian Guide
Wonderful light room with big French windows. Staff are sweet and smiling.
Time Out
The Hoxton Apprentice has a good looking interior, simple menu and surprisingly polished service
The service and the food were absolutely perfect
It deserves to do fabulously. A little hotspot of selflessness for today’s decadent times’

This movie was This movie was terrible! the endnig was sad and lame, the plot was stupid and weak, there were no likable characters, and worst of all this was just about the most racist movie released since the birth of a nation Seriously several blacks walked out halfway in because of the way the blacks were portrayed. with movies out like Law abiding citizen, zombieland, and heck even crank 2, why support this racist crap. its like they were saying dont worry, aliens can possibly be worse than blacks

By pure chance we ate on an evening when there was live Jazz and a complimentary glass of champagne due to the month long celebration of their 2nd Birthday, which safe to say made for an excellent start to the evening.
I could not pick fault with the food. My Tuna was cooked to perfection and possibly the best I've ever had and my partner's meal was of equal standard.
The menu is cunningly versatile to suit whatever dining experience you prefer. Not a vast menu but very well considered.
It seems to be popular for large groups of people but I did not feel intimidated or put off by their presence (2 large tables dining whilst we were there). Staff gave equal attention to everyone and our food was still served without delays.
Would definitely go again!
