What Critics Say
Richard Vines,Bloomberg NewsMarch 2005
The cooking is good, the steaks are great, the service is friendly, the prices are reasonable.
Helen Elliott, American in Britain magazineSpring 2005
Missouri American grill and restaurant offers quality, imaginative American food, in an environment suited to business entertaining or a night out with friends. The quality of the food was undoubtable, as is the staff's enthusiasm for this new venture.

The North American dishes are a little business-like themselves, but they fulfil all expectations: straightforward, served in hearty portions, and made with high quality ingredients... The service was consummate and if you could take an office lunch at Missouri every week, you'd be pretty pleased about it.
Marina O'Loughlin, Metro Newspaper2004
Missouri's pedigree is as attractive as that of its beef, which is organically reared, Scottish and aged for at least 28 days. Velvety to the tooth and packed with rich beefy flavour, their superior provenance showed in every bite.

Hey Beth I hate spicy food, so no, even with the green chiles, they aren't spicy. You could add jopanales, if you want them spicy. They were really good. It's a good thing to do with those cheap chicken breasts that I told you about. I really couldn't believe I got an entire pan of food out of just two breasts.

I have had the pleasure of eating at Missouri on two occasions now and both times the food has been excellent. Initially the restaurant suffered from slow service but I believe that they have got that licked. the menu provided both my partner and I with a wealth of dishes to choose from, the carpaccio is one of the best I have ever tasted, whilst the virginia ham with celeriac was beatifully flavoured. As mentioned in earlier reviews the beef is very well looked after and the service is attentive. I am making a note to visit far more often, in the evenings it can be quiet, but maybe that's not a bad thing after all.
